The concept mashes up Big Brother and Catfish, with contestants living separately in the same building and only able to communicate by messaging each other through The Circumvolve app. Some contestants cull to take on different identities in the hope of winning over the other players. The most recent edition featured several catfish in the finale, including the winner DeLeesa St. Agathe.

Every round, the contestants rank each other, with the summit vote-getters earning influencer status and the power to block other players from the game.

Forth the fashion, the contestants appoint in icebreakers and encounter twists that give advantages (or disadvantages). Flavour 2 introduced the role of the "joker," which allowed Courtney to anonymously chat with new players. And a new twist gave blocked contestants Jack and Lisa a 2d chance by letting them squad up under a new profile.

New twists include something called a "burner profile" and a team of ii players, sisters Chanel and Ava.

Netflix has set up The Circle season iii release date for September eight. New episodes will driblet on Wednesdays.

The Circle was so popular when it debuted in 2020 that Netflix immediately ordered two more than seasons and filmed them back to back.
